Hello, I'm Tarik, a licensed local guide from Sarajevo with a Master's degree in History and a deep passion for sharing the stories of my city and country. Born and raised in Sarajevo, I combine academic knowledge with personal insights to provide engaging and authentic experiences. My tours go beyond dates and facts, they focus on the people, cultures, and events that have shaped Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the centuries. Whether we're exploring the old streets of Baščaršija, discussing the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian periods, or learning about the Siege of Sarajevo and the Bosnian War, my goal is to help visitors understand the history, traditions, and everyday life of this fascinating region. I believe the best tours are interactive, relaxed, and full of interesting stories, so feel free to ask questions and join the conversation. I look forward to showing you Sarajevo through the eyes of a local historian. See you on the tour!
