Hong Kong Through Time : From Ding Ding Tramways to Victoria Harbour
The tour lasts 3 hours
Available in English
Description
This tour takes you on a historical and architectural journey from Wan Chai to Tsim Sha Tsui through Central, exploring Hong Kong's most iconic financial landmarks and heritage transport systems.
Wan Chai to Central, try the "Ding Ding" Tram Experience.
HSBC Main Building: A Masterpiece of Feng Shui and High-Tech Architecture.
Old Bank of China Building: When the building was completed and opened in 1950, it symbolized the rise of the New China's power.
Statue Square, a rare open public green space in the heart of dense Central District. Looking around, you see the neoclassical Old Supreme Court (now the Court of Final Appeal) on one side and hyper-modern towers on the other, perfectly capturing Hong Kong's blend of East and West, old and new.
Central Ferry Pier - Try the Star Ferry, a Century harbour crossing named by National Geographic Traveler as one of the "50 Places of a Lifetime." Since 1898, ferries have connected Hong Kong Island to the Kowloon Peninsula.
Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower - The Endpoint of History. Walkers' final stop is the 44-meter-tall Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, a Declared Monument built in 1915.
*** Please bring the passport or ID Card (with photo) to the tour for a scenic spot checking.
