The tour was both informative and entertaining. Bruce, born and raised in Chicago, did a fantastic job of talking about the city's architectural milestones of the city and sprinkling history with fun facts about gangsters and the love lives of the prominent figures. We enjoyed the tour a lot!

This tour was a fantastic experience and gave me a new appreciation for the rich history of our city. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and engaging, weaving together themes—such as mosaics at different locations—in a way that made the stories come alive.

Peter is obviously passionate about Chicago, and his enthusiasm for everything we visited was contagious! I felt like we were discovering everything for the first time and yet he knew everything there was to know - without having to constantly use notes - even about the random topics that I brought up. (I am a chatty person.) I loved exploring Millenium Park and seeing all the folks out and about enjoying one of the city's marvelous features. And learning about different architectural styles and how they came about was a bonus. Nothing was a disappointment. Thanks, Peter!

Peter was very knowledgeable of Chicago history and gave very interesting information about the history of the skyscraper from the first one in the city to the modern and how some are constructed. I learned new things about Chicago that I didn’t know plus it was entertaining and beautiful views of art, murals and sculptures in the city. I highly recommend taking this tour to learn more about Chicago and enjoy the beautiful art and architecture the city has to offer.

Burce was great! very knowledgeable and kind. He was willing to do a tour with just 3 of us and he had a lot of good information and tips for us. Nothing like having a city native show you around town!

We loved the tour. So many amazing facts that only a born and bred Chicago resident would know. Lots of great suggestions on places to eat and visit. Highly recommend

Bruce was so knowledgeable and he showed me a whole bunch of secret places that only a local would know to go eat. He also knew a lot about the inside of buildings. I totally enjoyed the tour. Even though I had done an architectural tour on the boat, I had never heard the information that he had given. Thank you so much, Bruce.

Bruce was amazing! His tour is one of my favorite things I did in Chicago. Definitely recommend it. I learned so much about the history of the city and visited interesting corners, and Bruce helped us to plan our trip and learn about other activities. Can't recommend it enough

Some people didn’t show up so there were only 3 people almost felt like a private tour. Bruce was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and thoughtful (he reminded us to bring water and made sure we had washroom breaks). It was a good tour overall.

I loved the odd bits of trivia that Bruce imparted. Sears tower overtaken by the Petronas Twin towers in 1998. similarities with Melbourne: meet you under the clock at Flinders Street, and Sears/Eureka tower both having jutting out ledges that you can walk on. Thanks to Bruce, I learned of the Chicago Temple and visited the next day
