It is hard to find words how amazing this tour was! First of all Bernard has a vibrant and funny personality, that lifts your mood immediately. He is born and raised in the Chinatown of Singapore. He is very knowledgeable, but while you can learn about facts and history the whole tour is dynamic and I promise you wont get bored for a single moment. Although the tour starts in Chinatown and he has a lot and very personal insides to share, I felt I learned about many different aspects of the country. You really get the true essence of the city and the people and how different cultures can come together. He also illustrates the unique values and strenghts of Singapore that makes it what it is today. In addition he recommended us things to visit that were not on our list originally. Like the Chinatown Heritage Centre and the Singapur City Gallery. We visited them both and it was totally worth it. As well as different buildings which unfortunately we couldn’t book in a short notice but gave us a a reason wanting to come back for more.
We all really enjoyed the tour … Bernard made it really interesting and kept us engaged with his personal story of life in Singapore … he made me want to learn more Bernard was entertaining,knowledgeable ,engaging and informative… what a joy the tour was 😊
