This tour was amazing to understand the role and importance of China town in Singapore. I learned so much about the history and changes of that old quarter. It can’t be better done than a local who used to live there and went through all the changes! Our tour guide Bernies was a professional tour guide who gave us high quality information packed in personal and amusing stories. He was very enthusiastic and knew how to maintain our attention throughout the tour. Well done 👍
My walking tour today of Chinatown with Bernard was absolutely incredible! I was so impressed with his warmth, knowledge and professionalism. He told his own story about growing up in Chinatown and I've never been on a tour with a guide so personal and willing to share his own experiences - from really tough moments growing up to some more triumphant ones. Bernard is so brave and courageous to tell his story and I felt immersed and drawn to his story telling - it was so real and genuine. I cannot recommend Bernard highly enough!
