A very recomendable walk, beatiful scenery and enthusiastic guide giving interesting insight into the Canal history and the trepid changes between traditional and modern China.
Zhu has been a fantastic guide who became a friend. He tailored his entire trip to us. We loved everything from learning about the Grand Canal to seeing the authentic life at a nearby food market and community buildings. Zhu was so generous. He answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. He was so kind to even help us with an Alipay issue. We finished the tour feeling grateful, fulfilled, and full of energy to keep coming back to see Hangzhou. Zhu was great. He took us for interesting spots alongside the canal while explaining the history. We like that he took us to the museum as well to visualize the history as well. We'll recommend!!
