Great walk around old town of Kuching. Aaron was very knowledgable. Learnt about history and culture of Borneo. Useful info re local foods too.

Very informative tour. The walk was very well paced with rest stops. We were shown around the historic area and were given tips on visiting other places of interest. Aaron told us about local food and suggested restaurants. Aaron is an excellent guide and really helped us gain the best from our time in Kuching. Would thoroughly recommend booking this tour!

Amazing tour!!! I will freely admit I’m a bit of a nerd, and this tour kept me captivated for several hours. I learned so much about Kuching, saw many hidden gems that I couldn’t have thought to find on my own, and enjoyed Aaron’s obvious love for his city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Took the walking tour with Aaron in Kuching on a very rainy morning during Lunar New Year. Most of the shops were closed. We were the only ones on the tour, so it basically was a private tour of old part of Kuching in empty and quiet streets. Aaron adapted the tour due to all the closures and came prepared with diagrams and statistics of Kuching. He gave great tips about what to do, how to get around, where to eat, etc. He also gave great explanations of history and culture of Kuching/Sarawak. Learned quite a lot from Aaron (who is 3rd or 4th generation in Sarawak). Given almost all the restaurants were closed that day, Aaron took us to the convention center for a free lunch provided by the government for the Lunar New Year. Would highly recommend Aaron to gain perspective on Kuching/Sarawak from a local person who seemed to really enjoy being a guide and teaching people about the history and culture of the region.

Aaron gives a good overview of the city, Makes it easier to orientate, and easier to know where to go in the days to come. He brings you to Chinese tempels tjat are less visited. Also tries to adjust his info to what you need. E.g. sending me adresses of vegetarian restaurants. He knows a lot about the history of Kuching and Sarawak. He explains ablut local,food and drinks, and shows where to buy it. It was a very informative tour!

Aaron gave a fantastic overview of the history and culture of Kuching, it is obvious he has put a lot of effort into the information provided. He took us down hidden streets we would not have walked alone and pointed out architectural features we would not have spotted. Aaron was also very friendly and engaging.

I was in Kuching during the low season so I was the only person to sign up for the tour. Despite this, Aaron still came into the city centre and took me on a great tour, which was greatly appreciated. His knowledge of the city and region's history is thorough, and he had plenty of helpful suggestions for food and drink. You can't go wrong booking a tour with Aaron!

One of the best free tours I had attended and highly recommended for first time travellers to Kuching who are keen to know about the old city and nice food joints.

Aaron is a very knowledgeable guide about Kuching history, museums and food. He came prepared with a binder full of photos and detailed maps, speaks Malay, Chinese and English fluently and he is a really friendly guy too!

We had a great tour with Aaron. He's very knowledgable and his style is entertaining. It was a rainy day for a walking tour, but fortunately the route was largely covered so we just had to cross a few streets to get from one dry spot to another. He also had several nice suggestions on where to go in the city for food.
