Aaron was a fantastic guide. Thanks to his tour, we got a much deeper understanding and appreciation for Sarawak, its culture and its politics than we had expected, even coming in knowing nothing about the region. He told a great story through the different locations we stopped at, and we even got to enter one of the old shophouses - we didn't expect this at all! (only possible during the evening tour) He is super knowledgable and answered all of our questions and more. Cannot recommend Aaron enough!!

Die Tour war richtig toll! Ein sehr guter Mix aus Geschichte und dem heutigen Leben, alles was der Guide erzählt hat war sehr interessant. Wir durften sogar ein Haus besuchen und uns dort umschauen. Wir haben auch viel über die Iban erfahren. Wir könnten alle Fragen stellen, alles wurde beantwortet. Wir waren sehr begeistert!

Aaron made the trip especially interesting by taking us to unique shops/hidden gems that we would probably have walked right past if we were exploring the town on our own. What made it even more enjoyable was the way he shared the stories and history behind each place. Instead of telling us everything at once, he revealed little bits of information along the way, almost like unraveling a mystery. Each clue led to another discovery, keeping us curious and engaged throughout the journey.

Aaron was an excellent guide and the perfect introduction to Kuching and Sarawak. The evening tour began at the open-air food market and, with our small group, felt relaxed and personal throughout. As a true local with deep family roots in the city, Aaron brought the history and culture to life through fascinating stories and personal insights that you will not find in guidebooks. The highlight was being welcomed into a local family home, giving us a genuine glimpse into traditional city life. This tour was a great introduction to Sarawak and the wider region of Malaysian Borneo.

Aaron was great from start to finish! He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He showed us most areas of Kuching town and where there wasn’t time to see he gave us how to get there and whether they were worth going to. He gave us tips on where to eat and explained the local favourites. We learnt a lot of history of Kuching which was fascinating. Definitely well worth doing the walk ( wear good comfortable walking shoes and bring water with you), it gives you an idea of the town and where to go back to later. Well done Aaron, keep up the good work! Thank you for a great morning 😀.

Excellent guide and great tour. Good amount of information, walking, sights to see, a few sitting rest stops, and locations. The history was interesting and this is coming from a person who gets bored easily. He was super friendly and easy to ask questions. 500% recommend this tour.
