Taha is a very kind and considerate guide. He still led my tour even though I was the only one booked, and he even waited for me when I couldn't make it on time. When the tour ended, he made sure I knew how to navigate the metro to get where I needed to go. Taha also shared very detailed and interesting history about the UAE and the sheikhs. I especially enjoyed hearing about the clothing Emiratis wear and the economics of Abu Dhabi and Dubai compared to the other emirates. As for the route, it was lovely to visit the souks and take the boat ride once used by pearl divers. While visiting the gold souk, Taha explained how gold prices are calculated and how large pieces can be rented. I would have loved to hear more about the spice souk, though, rather than being led into a store where spices were marketed to me. There was no pressure to buy at all, but I would have preferred learning about the dishes people cook and how spices are used, instead of just "this is cardamom, this is saffron, this is mint." I also felt more information could have been shared throughout the tour—such as how the souks came to be, and more stories about local life, food, and culture. I would also have appreciated recommendations on what else to do after the tour and where to eat, without having to ask. Overall, I still learned a lot about the UAE, and I would definitely recommend Taha as a guide!

I had an amazing experience on this tour with Taha! He explained so much about Dubai, covering everything from its history and society to its politics and development. What I appreciated most was that he also shared his personal perspective on what it is really like to live in Dubai, which made the experience much more authentic and interesting. A very informative and curated tour, where the guide really goes along with your interests and questions. It was such a unique experience. I had been to some of the spots already on my own. This tour is a great way to learn about Dubai's history and culture and see a part of Dubai different than the hyper modern Downtown. Our guid Muhammad Bilal was knowledgaeble and made it an all together great tour. Definitely reccomend.

Taha was amazing! He took great care of us, took his time, and never rushed us. He even let us stay at each place longer than usual so we could really enjoy the experience. Super friendly and attentive throughout the whole tour. 10/10 — highly recommended!

Great tour around the traditional part of Dubai, although I was the only one in the tour, the guide took me all over as a VIP guest haha and I had an amazing experience. Had the chance to approach unknown perspectives of the UAE, on how socio, political and economic dynamics work, got to taste, smell and see local marvels of the city and was left wanting to explore some more, very grateful for this tour, hope it gets crowded soon as safety and welcoming sensations are the only ones prevailing, great end of this summer by September 2026 🌷

Taha was incredible. Booked the tour last minute and he actually showed up an hour earlier to make sure I could experience the museums before they closed and was communicative and responsive beforehand about the meetup. He’s so knowledgeable and passionate about Dubai/UAE culture and its history. Knew so many people along the way! You can tell he’s a part of the local community and gives you a taste of the real Dubai. Left something behind and he went out of his way after the tour ended to help. So incredibly grateful to have been a part of Taha’s tour and left learning so much. Can’t thank him enough for the experience and the interactions!!

I had a good tour with our Guide Ameer and explain about the history and the traditional MR culture and about the coffee museum and they take us to the abra boat everything was very amazing. I will highly recommend it for everyone specially for family and couples
