I joined Pete for "walls" Girona guided tour with my girlfriend. Even though she is not big history fan, we both enjoyed the narration and views; Route is interesting, Pete has a lot to say - and those are not dry facts, rather histories based on human motivation and reasons behind certain things, which I'm always glad to hear. Route is easy to traverse, you will visit few amazing view points and few hidden places, otherwise hard to explore on your own. Would recommend as 1-day trip from Barcelona, if you are stating there, Girona is really worth it. Overall 5/5, no complains - I just regret I missed earlier train, I would like to try "essential" tour as well.

Good walk, fun guide, lots of information and good sites visited with enough info to encourage a later return to some locations. Two areas for improvement, one would be to limit the numbers on the tour, sometimes the guide's presentation was already almost finished before the whole group caught up. Second point was the almost parallel Spanish language walk which we clashed with on several occasions. As it was the same tour company, we thought they could vary the routes to avoid clashes. Overall a good, fun and recommended activity.
