Hello, I'm Matt. I'm a writer, a Londoner of 8 years, and a passionate Tube enthusiast. I began planning walking tours for visiting friends and family who were often sceptical of what the great city of London has to offer. Soon I caught the "tour itch", which developed into walking tours for the public. A long time ago I studied modern history, and have always been captivated by the way politics, economics and individuals shape architecture, urban design and city life. As a result, I have embedded those ideas into my tour. The impact of the Underground on London, and the world, is undeniable. Yet these extraordinary stories often get lost in the banality of our daily commute or the frustration of a crowded ticket hall. Through my tour, I hope to unlock those often missed moments and share my passion for the Tube and its history with others.
