Hello, I'm Fajar. I'm an easy going guy and I've been guided some travellers for the walking tour around Jakarta City for more than 3years to visit some cool spots, introduce them the local foods, experience them the local transportations, etc. I love to do this walking tour because basicly I like to meet new friends from different countries and I think that's really interesting.
We had an amazing street food tour with Fajars in Jakarta! Earlier the same day we joined his history and culture walking tour, and meeting up again in the evening for the food tour was the perfect combination. Fajars guided us through the busy street food scene, explained each dish and drink, ordered everything for us, and made sure we only tried high-quality, delicious options. As tourists, we would have been completely lost among the many stalls and choices, so exploring it all with a knowledgeable local guide in a small group made the experience even better. It was fun, authentic, and truly memorable. We highly recommend Fajars—and both his regular walking tour and his street food tour!
Fantastic 4½ h tour and Fajz is really professionel, great in English, history and serviceminded - providing snacks, water, tea and bus tickets. Saw all the sights and he observes what you have most interets in. highly recommand his service and you should tip him generously (min. 35 EUR pp)
One of the most interesting free walking tours I’ve ever joined - very diverse and full of little adventures along the way. I was initially worried about the length, but we ended up having such a good time with the guide that the hours passed surprisingly quickly. We got to experience a lot of everyday life in Jakarta, which was a real highlight. I only missed a bit more insight into Indonesia’s post-independence history, as it’s a fascinating period and would have added even more depth to the tour. Overall, a memorable and highly enjoyable experience
Fajars is an exceptional guide. He showed us many interesting places, explained the history and culture, and answered all our questions. In addition to the major attractions, he also took us to a hidden temple in Chinatown and provided us with delicious snacks at lunchtime. We highly recommend this walking tour with Fajars!
