I am a born-and-bred Londoner with a degree in History and a professional Tour Guiding Certificate from City University. With years of experience leading groups, I create and deliver tailored tours across London and southern England for groups of any size, from solo visitors to parties of twenty.
My tours combine history, science, and anthropology with the fun, quirky, and sometimes downright creepy stories that bring places to life. Whether you want the classic highlights, hidden gems, or a deep dive into the unusual, I’ll design a private tour that’s engaging, memorable, and perfectly suited to your interests.
Liza offered a first-rate experience. She was deeply knowledgeable, engaging, and authentic. Liza's love of the neighborhood - and the stories it has to tell - shone brightly.
My daughter and I really the tour with Liza. A different perspective than the main London sightseeing venues. Working class areas, now partly gentrified that came to life with Liza’s stories and memories from the past, when cattle was still herded through the streets or later when buildings and quarters were abandoned and criminality burdened the people’s lives. And when it improved to an artist’s place and now highly demanded part of London. A special treat was the Broadway and Columbia market on a Sunday. Absolutely recommended.
Wonderful and informative! Liza was warm, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed her tour, length of it and great interaction. Growing up around this area she was able to elaborate on personal interesting stories too. I would highly recommend Liza for this tour! Fab. Thank you Liza
We did the Hackney, Shoreditch & Spitalfields: The Old East End tour with Liza and loved it! Full of fascinating stories, street art, and hidden gems you’d never notice alone. Liza was very knowledgeable and approachable – you could ask questions at any time, which made the tour even more engaging. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic East End experience!
