The tour was excellent. Memo was very kind and friendly; he gave me very good tips and suggestions for my stay in PV. I recommend this tour to people visiting PV for the first time, it is very worth it.

I was incredibly disappointed that Memo did not show up for my tour. I received no cancellation email and no response when I tried to contact someone at GURU. I waited for him in the lobby of the hotel for 30 minutes. Very unprofessional! I wasted my whole morning on this when I had very little time in PV. Would give zero stars if I could.

Response from Vallarta101
Hi, this is Memo. Sorry to hear Cynthia was so disappointed :( The tour did happen. As always, I was there 15 mins. before the starting time, having a coffee along with another guest who did show up at the right place and at the right time. We waited for almost 15 minutes after the starting hour and then had to leave. I later sent Cynthia a message, offering her to reschedule, but got no response. I am NEVER late and I ALWAYS show up for my guests, even when they are solo travelers, like Cynthia. We are all very professional at Guruwalk and V101, as shown in all the other reviews for this and the other walks, but somehow every now and then someone feels entitled to write a scathing comment on a free tour they did not take. Sorry if there was any miscommunication and even more sorry she missed and amazing walk. Cynthia's tour was scheduled for 9.30am - we are sorry she feels she wasted her whole morning, but we thank her for her input and hope she still had a wonderful time in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.

Excellent tour of Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Memo had so much interesting information and cool spots to check out. He was so knowledgeable about the history, art, all the local foods, and so much more. I highly recommend taking this tour.
