Saint Germain en Laye, the unknown jewel of western Paris

The RER ride will pay off on arrival when you set foot on solid ground and leave the station to discover the charming, detail-packed Chateau and the small but perfect Cathedral. That will be our meeting point! The path will begin by turning the castle (it is possible to enter and take advantage of the Museum of Archeology inside for 8 euros). Then we will visit the park that welcomes and decorates it, enjoying its greenery and the magnificent view of Paris from its viewpoint. We can savor a fruit juice sitting in a gazebo if you feel like it or just take the time for a photo shoot. We will leave the park in the direction of the Cathedral to enjoy it inside and when we leave, we will start our way through the narrow and charming medieval pedestrian streets of the city, which will lead us to its traditional market in the central square. On the way back to the station, we will return through some other narrow street in the city, discovering a little more of its architecture and its bon charme. In summer, as an extra, we can walk along the edge of the Seine River along the paths of parks with gardens and groves, an air of relaxation for Parisians on the hottest days.
