I am a 37 year old Australian tour guide. I have been living in Lagos on and off for the last 12 years, after getting married and buying a house in the last 12 months, I have decided to make Lagos my home. I love to have a good time and I love to help others have a good time. I am also passionate about the beauty of Portugal and the Algarve, and there is nothing I want more than to show it to others.
During this guruwalk we'll walk through the Lagos old town along with the modern Avenida das Descombrimentos. You'll learn about the Portuguese age of discovery, the great earthquake of 1755, Foods, drinks and about the important people that shaped this nation. I've been living in Lagos, on and off, for 17 years and during this time I've learnt a great deal about the history of Portugal and the port city of Lagos. Alongside this I've picked up many secrets on great restaurants, bars and places of interest along with a bunch of money saving tips for travellers. I like to entertain so I promise a few laughs, along the way. We'll finish this tour with a sweet Portuguese delicacy above the gorgeous Batata beach, and hopefully a drink at my favourite bar. Cheers Brodie
