Description
Welcome to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Venice! Join my tour if you want to know more about everything this amazing city has to offer. Being a native, I know all about the interesting stories that Venice and its famous streets, canals and buildings have to tell you. I love helping tourists discover the lesser known and more hidden history of Venice. On my tours, I have many fascinating anecdotes that really make the city and its colorful past come to life. This tour includes, but is not limited to these iconic places:
the Jewish ghetto
the oldest Jewish ghetto in the world
Casino di Venezia, the oldest casino in the world.
The Church of the Illuminati,
The Rialto fish market,
The Rialto Bridge (featured in the 007 film Casino Royale)
The site of the old brothels
What are you waiting for!? Book your tour with me and discover a side of the city that many tour guides never give you the chance to see. Find out why so many travelers have given me a 5 star review on TripAdvisor! Thank you so much my friend!
Hi to all the tourists out there who are excited to get to know more about my hometown of Venice. I'm licensed tour guide, I've been doing walking tours for seven years, and I was born and raised in Venice.
Over this period, I have met people from many different cultures and had the chance to share some of Venice's most beautiful places and many of it's hidden secrets. I have enjoyed the experience so much, that I have earned over 250 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor for my tours in Venice.

Francesco, a self-described backstreet boy, led us on the most fascinating, fun-filled guided tour of our two-week trip. Not only was the route beyond or behind the overpopulated touristy areas, but Francesco’s local historical knowledge and jovial wit were the centerpiece of this adventurous tour. Laughter punctuated every back street and alley. Of all the tours we took in Italy, Francesco’s is the one we’ll remember most.

The tour was fascinating and Francesco was delightful! We were looking for an off-the-beaten-path kind of tour, and this tour exceeded our expectations. Started in the Jewish quarter, gone through the beautiful streets of Cannaregio, crossing the canal on a 2€ gondola (yes, there is such thing!) then walking through the beautiful campnos of Venice, doing his best to skip all the busiest streets and taking us through the back narrow alleys. We even had a half hour stop for aperitivo and cicchetti. A must-do tour for the sophisticated traveler who is looking to see the less touristic area and experience the real local Venetian life.

I think that this is a must-attend walk, in Venice! You’ll learn history, as you walk, and will see a side of Venice that is intriguing, unusual and certainly not talked about in conventional tours. I also think you would find this to be the highlight of your stay, in Venice.
