Ghost Tour Venice

We were in Venice several times in the past and hired guides a couple times. Laura is exceptional, lots of history knowledge, she was very personable polite and easily engaged with all members of the group. Thank you Laura, see you next year! David

Francesco is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about Venezia and its history. The Illuminati church and the Ghetto visit are certainly two highlights. Don't hesitate booking. Long walk but well worth the effort! (he includes a 30-min coffee break)

Die Stadtführung mit Francesco war sehr wissenswert und interessant. Er zeigte uns Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten, die vor Touristen versteckt sind, gab uns Einblicke in die Geschichte, die sogar für unsere Teenager interessant waren. Jetzt sehen wir Venedig mit anderen Augen und bemerken vieles, an dem wir früher vorbeigegangen wären. Danke, Francesco!

What a tour!!! Francesco shares his knowledge in a highly engaging and dynamic way, revealing a side of Venice most tourists never get to see. The three hours flew by — I couldn’t recommend this tour more!

Laura was absolutely wonderful- from clear communication before the tour to being personable and attentive to everybody on the tour. She was quite fun, shared valuable information and answered all our questions. Highly recommended !

Very fun and fascinating tour. Francesco is a local very experienced guide and took us all around the city for almost 3 hours. The stories and explanations about a variety of subjects were interesting and we learned a lot. Recommended!

Francesco is an experienced tourist guard. He was on time to the meeting point. He explained a lot of details/histories of the sites we visited. I really enjoyed this walking tour. I will join more with Guru walking tours when I travel to other places in the future.

Francesco was a great tour guide! He made the tour interesting and engaging, made sure everyone was included, and took us to places we never would have gone ourselves. This is a great tour to do to see the non touristy parts of Venice. We covered a lot!

Francisco was engaging, humorous, and very knowledgable. We saw parts of the city we wouldn’t have known existed. A great tour from a local who was born in Venice, detailed and highly recommended especially if you’re looking for something that covers other things than the key tourist sites.

Really different tour of Venice, none of the tourist haunts that you can find for yourself, lots if backstreets and alleys and interesting stuff!

Educational, interesting, funny..

Very informative tour! Laura gave very engaging presentation of history of Jewish Quarter and the local/ European politics of the era. It's a part of Venice that we wouldn't normally have explored on our own so got to see more of the city. Laura also provided recommendations for restaurants and museums. Highly recommend.

Francesco was a brilliant guide. He walked us through the hidden gems of Venice and spoke about the history and events that took place in these places. We appreciated all the recommendations and the knowledge he shared. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend his tour.
