Mohammed was an amazing tour guide. We started at Tahrir Square where we took the metro to Coptic Cairo— Mohammed arranged/paid for our metro tickets and guided us through Coptic Cairo. Before starting he asks what level of information you’d like to receive about each place, and we chose the highest level— wow did he deliver! We were so impressed by his knowledge of not just history, but motifs, metaphors, and the smallest details. His passions really shines through. We then went on to the Citadel and encompassed mosques via taxi that he also arranged/paid for. Despite myself having gone there several times, I learned so much more new information that I would have never learned on my own. Mohammed then waited for us to get our ubers at the end of the tour. An amazing amazing guide, I cannot thank him enough!

This is a great tour to see many of the top sights in Cairo. The churches and history behind Old Cairo is fascinating, and Mohamed does a great job of explaining all of the context and the local architecture. We grabbed a convenient quick lunch and then also had a good time touring the Citadel and Mohamed Ali mosque. Mohamed was very organized throughout the tour and is so knowledgeable about the history, he always welcomed questions and was great at answering all of them. highly recommend Mohamed's tour, its totally worth the time

Mohamed Youssef was an exceptionally great guide who had everything under control from the very start of the tour until the last participant had made it home. He arranged metro tickets for everyone, organized minivan transportation between the attractions, and after the tour he patiently waited until each participant had been picked up by their Uber. Mohamed has an incredible amount of knowledge about the places he shows us. He also shares a great deal about Egypt, the country’s history, and Islam. This is valuable information that makes sightseeing much more than simply looking at landmarks. You receive excellent background information about every location, and you are guaranteed to remember the tour for a long time! Mohamed spends almost his entire working day on this tour, so you truly get to see a lot. I highly recommend this guide!
