Hi, my name is May, like the best breezy throughout the whole year, with hopes and brightness. The tour guide has always been my dream job since I was a little girl, and personally, I love travelling from deep in my heart. Being passionate is the top secret of enjoying my job and making my customers feel as happy as me, but never suffering from both sides. I've been working as a tour guide for years, at the very beginning, I only worked with the big groups facing at least 50 visitors at a time, taking care of everyone, handling all the events and sometimes the anticipates. It's not easy, but I still love it, coz being troubleshooting is exciting, especially when I could see the smiles on my clients' face, I feel great. I'm pretty sure if you travel with me, we could get along very well.

Tour description

Discover the cradle spot (Old Port) of the ancient Montréal.

Montreal, which is founded in 1642, is an island like a lost pearl, as a bilingual immigrant city, living here is kind of exciting, coz we may mix up different languages in a single phrase when we’re talking, French, English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, etc, but how could all these come up together? Well, it's all about history.
It served as the capital city once used to be the biggest city for a long time in Canadian and also the only city that has held the summer Olympic Games in Canada.

Along the mother river St. Lawrence, back to early 17th century, the story began by the French explorer Samuel de Champlain, who was taken as the father of the New France(Québec). At the very beginning, it was served as a fur trading spot which is where present-day Pointe-à-Callière at the old port of Montréal, the cradle...
From here, in two hours, let's discover the old Montréal together by visiting:

  • Plaza de Armas
  • Basilica Notre-Dame
  • St-Jacques Street
  • Place Jacques-Cartier
  • City hall
  • Bonsecours Market, etc.

What else you wanna go check? Just tell me, I'll make it true for you.
Looking forward to meeting you guys!
