Split Highlights- small group tour

Jasenka was so knowledgeable and interesting. She showed us parts of the old town we wouldn’t have seen alone. Loved her energy and storytelling.

We had a great afternoon and learned a lot. It even included watching a wedding party kicking off. Antonjeta was warm and interesting to listen to and extremely knowledgeable.

Antonjeta’s 2-hour tour gave us context to Split’s complex history and current unique culture. She conducted the tour primarily within the Diocletian Palace, where so many structures have been built and modified over the centuries since Roman times; history through the architecture, which is a great approach. Along the tour she explained Dalmatian history as well as the region’s current culture and traditions and roots. Antonjeta’s style is engaging and informed by her experience as a longtime educator. She also gave us local recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We were very happy with the tour,
