I am going to take you through Kibera Slum which is one of the largest slums in Africa. Am going to teach you the kind of lifestyle we leave in our community. We will also let you interact with the people within. Our tour will start on our meeting point which is near to the our second presidents homestead. From there we will head directly to the slum where we will interact with the friendly guys around. We will also visit the historic football pitches we have within our community
After visiting various places we will head to our resting points where we will have some drinks to energize ourselves then proceed with the rest of the tour
we will also visit the railway line teaching you how it came into existence
From there we will go the view point of the slum where can take group photos together and for the slum
from there we will be heading to our office where will be having chats as you wait for an uber We also offer accomodations and transport Feel free to contact for accomadation informations
I was born and raised in the slum (Kibera slum ) which is one of the biggest slums we have.
I have been a tour guide for four years and I am well informed about my area and am also holding more information for my community

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and €50 per participant.

Daniel was a gentleman and clearly well-respected in the community. Born, raised, and educated in the slum, he offered a unique insider’s perspective on what life is like there. I felt safe and Daniel ensured that we, as tourists, knew how to be respectful to the locals (eg: how/when to take photos, etc.). It was an eye-opening experience coming from Canada - the poverty is shocking to witness, and yet, everyone was polite, quick to say hello and return a smile, the kids all wanted “high fives”, and I really enjoyed listening about the different self-driven initiatives from the locals. If you’re a keen traveller, have a big heart, or are just generally curious what life is like in the slum, I can’t recommend this tour enough. I was concerned it was going to be sketchy and it was the exact opposite. I am so glad that I went and had the opportunity to meet Daniel and learn about the community in which he was raised and now gives back to. (If you’ve read this far, book the tour already!)

Muy bien estuvimos en contacto previo todo momento , un chico tranquilo calmado nos explico todo con calma nos hizo un buen recorrido ,nos conto la vida en kibera, tiene una fundacion para los niños ,lo recomiendo ampliamente , el tour fue en ingles,yo hablo español pero se dejo entender muy paciente y tranquilo.
Elijah toured me around the Kilbera slum and it was an eye opener. He makes it very safe to visit the area and provides plenty of information on what it’s like to live there. We also visited the Okalee Mtaa foundation which is providing opportunities for children living there. Easy to get an Uber in and out of there.
We had a really interesting tour with Daniel. He grew up there so he could show us a lot and share a lot of information. We learned a lot!
