I was born and raised in the slum (Kibera slum ) which is one of the biggest slums we have.
I have been a tour guide for four years and I am well informed about my area and am also holding more information for my community
Elijah toured me around the Kilbera slum and it was an eye opener. He makes it very safe to visit the area and provides plenty of information on what it’s like to live there. We also visited the Okalee Mtaa foundation which is providing opportunities for children living there. Easy to get an Uber in and out of there.
Un tour sorprendente e interessantissimo. Noi e i nostri bimbi (5 e 7 anni) siamo rimasti impressionati di scoprire un mondo sconosciuto a gran parte dei turisti! Grazie a Daniel ci siamo immersi in una realtà che non avremmo mai immaginato! Unica pecca l'aver fatto il tour in inglese siccome non c' era la guida italiana..
Una experiencia increíble. La visita al barrio de Kibera te llega al corazón y te marca para siempre. Aprendes a ver las cosas del día a día de otra manera y te alegras de ver cómo gente como Daniel y su fundación hacen todo lo que pueden para aportar su grano de arena y mejorar en todo lo posible la vida de la comunidad local. Gracias a Elijah por una visita tan completa y enriquecedora.
We had a really interesting tour with Daniel. He grew up there so he could show us a lot and share a lot of information. We learned a lot!
