Romantic Rome - free tour of Villa Borghese
The pleasant walk begins at Piazza del Popolo, which welcomes visitors entering Rome and wishes everyone "a warm welcome" with an inscription above the front door that was originally written for Christina, the Swedish queen who He came to the city in 1655.
We will go up to the Pincio, a beautiful terrace, one of the most romantic views of the entire city, the so-called Terrazza del Pincio, we will enjoy the view that is particularly charming at sunset, we will see the water clock, the Italian patriots and we will arrive at the Giardino del Lake, another romantic must-see, where you can see the temple of Aesculapius located on an artificial island and then admire the "Fonte Gaia" a fountain that seems to affirm the feeling of closeness, care and joy. Piazza Siena is famous for its equestrian competition, the Temple of Diana, the monument of Umberto l -who died tragically, see the Borghese Gallery from the outside see numerous fountains scattered throughout the park.

Da wir nur wenige Teilnehmer waren, hatten wir quasi eine Privattour mit Ruza. Sie hat uns sehr viel über die Villa Borghese und die gesamte Parkanlage erzählt und uns die Geschichte Roms näher gebracht. Wir haben sehr viele schöne und interessante Plätze besucht, die wir ohne sie nicht gefunden hätten. Sehr zu empfehlen!
