Tirana has such an interesting history. The walking tour was the perfect way to get an overview of many centuries worth of history, to visit the highlights, main square, places of worship, pyramids, bunkart2 and the house of leaves. It also helped me orientate myself in the city and get some good recommendations for food and drinks

We use Free Walking Tours in every city we visit, and generally book via Guru. Arbor (?) was our guide in Tiranë, he brought us on a typical route, mixing the old parts with the new but it was jam packed with information, history, anecdotes, and useful tips on navigating around Tiranë and Albania. We did it in high 30’s heat in the morning and finished up at nearly 40C heat but Arbor kept it moving with as much time in the shade as possible. It was a full to capacity tour but Arbor managed to keep us together and moving along whilst also imparting his info clearly. Highly Recommended.

Absolutely great, super well scripted tour with great storytelling by the guide who could have not translated Albanian history and culture better. The route was wonderfully planned as well. Strongly recommend !
