Take your first steps on the island with us, to learn about the culture, history, architecture and anecdotes of the city and thus better understand island life.
In the Triana neighborhood we will visit the main artery of the city and its historic shopping center: Calle Mayor de Triana. We will discover the Canarian cultural resurgence in the 19th century by getting to know the flagship building of this movement: the Literary Cabinet. Of course, we will visit the house where one of the most illustrious Canarians, Benito Pérez Galdós , was born, now converted into a museum.
In the second part of the tour we will immerse ourselves in the heart of Las Palmas: Vegueta. To know the square where the city was born, the cathedral that would make it run for capital of the archipelago: Cathedral of Sta. Ana and many more things. Are you going to miss it?
We recommend that you do the tour in your first days on the island, since we will also advise where to taste traditional Canarian food, which areas of the island to visit, how to organize your days in the best way... We are waiting for you!
