Lots of information and a friendly guru guide

I had a private VIP-tour since there were no other visitors today. Maria is a professional guide. She knows all about the city and helps you to see the history of it. She has a lot of photographs showing how it was before tourism came. Maria also takes you inside historical buildings and gives tips of other places of interest you can visit on your own. Lovely tour, highly recommended!

Maria was a great guide - very kind and helpful, with a really good knowledge of both Tenerife's history and its current culture. The tour was well worth doing, I gained information that I would not have found on my own.

Gute Führung durch Innenstadt, allerdings sind die Englisch Kenntnisse des Gurus verbesserungswürdig.

All over all an informativ walk through the city of Puerto de la Cruz. Sometimes hard to understand the English language of Maria. But we would recommend the tour.

It was our first time in Puerto de la Cruz and Maria helped us to get a very good idea of the history of the Canary Islands especially Tenerife. Maria explained the mix of people who make up the current population, the trade that influenced Tenerife and the mix of historical architecture. A really interesting 2 hours away from the usual tourist routines. Maria is a very approachable and friendly person, making the tour seem like a walk with a local friend.

Marìa's explanations were very instructive. We learned a lot about not only Puerto de la Cruz but also the Canary Islands. We were a small group and thus able to enter hotels and visit lovely patios. Marìa is a very friendly guide and we enjoyed this visit a lot! Muchas gracias!

Lovely lady a lot didnt attend so it was personal. Her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm shone as we walked around pueta de la cruz. We learnt so much of the origins, history, culture etc. We visited places we had passed but never knew existed behind closed doors. Thank you so much Maria

Guide provided a brief history of the formation and development of the island and town. With the bonus of being able to go inside a few of the more historic houses within Puerto de le Cruz.

María had a nice route and good startpoint. During the route, she showed us multiple photos with the history of some places, which was very nice to see. María had also arranged that we could take a look inside some old houses with beautiful patios! 5 stars!

Very informative and interesting. Very kind considering we were only 2 and she went ahead with the tour instead of cancelling.

Maria is native to Puerto de la Cruz and she shared her experiences and knowledge of the area with ease. With her English translation she took time to check our understanding of the information she was talking about. She showed us photographs of how the landscape had changed over the past years. Overall a great way to discover the area and gives ideas of where else to visit.

Lots of facts and history of the island and of Puerto de la Cruz. Maria had old photos illustrating the changes in the area round the harbour. She took us inside buildings that we would not have known to visit, showing us the hidden gardens, original pine balconies etc within, and giving the history of these buildings over the centuries. She knows her stuff

Very nice tour with tons of historical information and even old pictures how the city and port looked back then. Highly recommend this tour if you are interested in the history of Porte de la Cruz, architecture and the influence of various people on the city. The English was pretty good and I understood everything without any further clarifications. If you also want to take some photos make sure you don't have a tight schedule as the tour will then definitively take more than 1,5h

Maria was an excellent and friendly, informative guide. We'd already been in Puerto de la Cruz for a week, but she took us to places and gave great information into places that we just hadn't seen or heard - so we'll worth taking the time to do this. We would highly recommend this tour.
