MarÃa had a nice route and good startpoint. During the route, she showed us multiple photos with the history of some places, which was very nice to see. MarÃa had also arranged that we could take a look inside some old houses with beautiful patios! 5 stars!

Maria is native to Puerto de la Cruz and she shared her experiences and knowledge of the area with ease. With her English translation she took time to check our understanding of the information she was talking about. She showed us photographs of how the landscape had changed over the past years. Overall a great way to discover the area and gives ideas of where else to visit.

Lots of facts and history of the island and of Puerto de la Cruz. Maria had old photos illustrating the changes in the area round the harbour. She took us inside buildings that we would not have known to visit, showing us the hidden gardens, original pine balconies etc within, and giving the history of these buildings over the centuries. She knows her stuff

Very nice tour with tons of historical information and even old pictures how the city and port looked back then. Highly recommend this tour if you are interested in the history of Porte de la Cruz, architecture and the influence of various people on the city.
The English was pretty good and I understood everything without any further clarifications.
If you also want to take some photos make sure you don't have a tight schedule as the tour will then definitively take more than 1,5h
