When an acquaintance visits Mexico City, I take them to see the most relevant places and those that keep a treasure for the few who know it. I worked for 2 years in this Guadalupano site and I will accompany you to enjoy the history of the second most visited Catholic site in the world , being just behind the Vatican. You will also discover curious facts and stories that few people know.
We will enter through the door where more than 20 million visitors arrive every year. I will tell you the order of the apparitions of the Virgin. You will be in the place where pilgrims can be closer to the Virgin. You will know the places where the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe has been and the first place where it was while the first Tepeyac temple was built.
We will visit the main sites of the Guadalupano complex, where the Basilica of Guadalupe, the old Basilica, the temple on top of the Tepeyac hill, La Cruz del atentado, among others, stand out. You will have the opportunity to learn about the food that San Juan Diego carried while the Virgin appeared to him.
I will take you to the place where you can buy rosaries, images and souvenirs of the basilica at a good price.
