Free Tour Albayzin, Flamenco & Sacromonte: Granada's living soul

The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes
Available in English and Spanish

Description

Let's discover the heart of Granada, but not like everyone else does.

We will start by understanding the Muslim origins of the city, walking through streets that still hold the spirit of Al-Andalus.

Then, we will delve into Mudejar architecture, entering a monastery where an astonishing story reveals the end of the last Muslim kingdom in Europe.

We will continue among the famous Cármenes of Granada, those garden-houses that have been enchanting for centuries… even Bill Clinton, who said he saw the most beautiful sunset in the world here.

We will finish in Sacromonte, where we will explore the history and current life of the gypsy community.

Here you will understand how flamenco was born in Andalusia as a cry of dignity, and you will have the opportunity to enter an authentic cave-dwelling.

During the tour, I will take professional photos so you can take home a unique memory.

We close the experience in the heart of Sacromonte, where flamenco continues to beat as the soul of Andalusia… and yes, there will be a little surprise

IMPORTANT:

The tour includes steep slopes, steps, and cobblestone streets.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or for strollers.
