Miguel is one of those guides who clearly does what he does because he loves the history and culture of the city he shows you, and he has a passion to really share it with you. I value walking tours for the little insights they give you, opening little windows into the place you are visiting. Miguel's tour was full of this, and I really felt he wanted us all to enjoy the authentic heart of the city. I think his route took us on a less trodden path, which I personally find more valuable in a very touristic town, and I think he adapts his tour to the particular day and group. I think his spirit is also part of why our group of strangers got on well together as we meandered through the town. Thank you for sharing your world with us!

Do not leave Granada without doing Miguel's tour! He was passionate, interesting, knowledgeable and fun. Even though my husband and I had been to Granada 4 or 5 times previously, we visited places we never even knew about. We learnt a lot about the history of Granada, about flamenco and the culture and history of the Gitanos and Moriscos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Miguel's tour.

A great way to see & learn about Granada, history, food & culture

Miguel was very informative and took us to great view points across the city. We also visited a monastery where the nuns made cakes. He was very passionate and we learnt a great deal about the origin of flamenco.

Focus on the Albacin, lots of history and what Flamenco really is, very absorbing

I was unsure what to expect from this tour having read a few reviews. Miguel was brilliant from the start. His unique interest and focus on flamenco and the history throughout Granada is fab. Completely different I learnt a lot and Miguel's uses interactive ways to bring the stories and history to life. From the outset offering to pay for a coffee from the cafe as they only took cash was kind. He takes photos of all who wish throughout and make sure all are included. We were a group of people from Singapore, Canada,Hawaii, Costa Rica, Ireland, America, India and England. We all chatted as we went and Miguel encouraged us all to ask questions throughout. A fab morning and then a few drinks and tapas with two other visitors on the walk after. What a great start to my stay in Granada 🥰

The tour with Miguel was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Granada. He is an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. He brought the city's rich history to life, from its Moorish roots to modern-day Granada, and offered deep, thoughtful insights into gypsy culture, challenging many of the common stereotypes and prejudices that still exist today. Miguel’s storytelling was both enlightening and respectful. We came away with a much deeper understanding of the city (Albaicin mostly) and its diverse cultural heritage.
