"Discover the Heart of Quito: A Great Journey Through Time with Fascinating Stories"

Welcome to the city of Quito, the city known for having the best-preserved colonial center in South America. Join me on a journey full of history and travel back in time with me. More than a guide, see me as a friend willing to show you the best things about my city.
We will start the tour through its squares and churches where we will learn a bit about its history, architecture, and famous legends, as well as freely explore its historical spaces.

How much does this tour cost?

Free tours do not have a set price. Instead, each person gives the guide at the end the amount they deem appropriate (usually amounts range from 15€ to 50$, depending on satisfaction with the tour).

Meeting point: Basílica del Voto Nacional

We will visit externally: 

• The Basílica del Voto Nacional.- let's explore its surroundings and its importance within the city.
• Ñucanchi Shop.- discover the local cultures of Ecuador as well as the amazing crafts made in the 3 continental regions of Ecuador.
• Casa del Higo.- a cozy colonial house unique in its own way with unique details from the 17th century and the republican era.
• The Plaza Grande.- the main and most frequented square of old Quito.
• Chocolate or traditional sweets tasting in one of the best-preserved courtyards in the city.
• We will visit one of the first universities in the city of Quito.
• The Church of the Society of Jesus.- The baroque church completely gilded with gold and filled with different artistic styles.
• The Plaza San Francisco.- we will have a panoramic view of the San Francisco church and also visit its interior to learn a bit more about Quito art.
• We will also discover surprise places

 
If you wish to enter the interior of any museum or church, we can do so gladly as long as the whole group agrees
