Tour description

There are places in Rome that you visit... and others that you remember for a lifetime.

This tour begins at one of the most elegant, quiet, and surprising points of the city: the Aventine, one of the original seven hills and one of Rome's best-kept secrets.

Here we will discover the famous keyhole, a perfectly aligned view that hides one of the city's most fascinating surprises. Nearby, we will enjoy the Orange Garden, a natural balcony with one of the most beautiful panoramas of Rome, and visit the Basilica of Santa Sabina, a 5th-century gem that preserves the essence of early Christianity.

From the Aventine, we will descend towards ancient Rome to encounter the legendary Mouth of Truth and the temples that have stood for over 2000 years, witnesses to gods, myths, and rituals.

We will continue alongside the imposing Theatre of Marcellus, a model that inspired the construction of the Colosseum, until we reach the Portico of Octavia, the entrance to the historic Jewish Ghetto, one of the most authentic and moving neighborhoods in the city.

We will walk through its history-laden streets, discover how the Jewish community lived here for centuries, their traditions, challenges, and legacy, as well as receive unique local recommendations.

We will end in one of the most charming and hidden corners of Rome: the Fontana delle Tartarughe.

A city that, even when you think you know it, continues to surprise you 🥰
