My name is Thomas and I am from Denmark I make guided tours because I can’t help it. Being a guide is not a job it’s a lifestyle. I have been a tour guide since 2005 in many places in the world but my first destination was actually Sao Miguel. I fell instantly in love and decided back then that I would be back here someday. Since then I have been doing free tours in Copenhagen, Madrid, Hamburg, Prague, and Aarhus. But now I’m back and call the Azores home.

Hi everyone and welcome to Ponta Delgada a unique and amazing place!
On the tour, you will get an introduction to the Azores. You will also be some of the many churches and get some interesting stories about the city.!
We will also visit a botanical garden where I will tell a little about the unique biology of the Azores.
The tour requires a minimum of 3 guests to run

Thomas is a wealth of knoweldge on the history, the flora, the architecture and even good restaurants in Ponta Delgada. His passion for the Azores and his in depth knoweldge was excellent. Highly reccomend this tour.
