My name is Thomas and I am from Denmark
I make guided tours because I can’t help it. Being a guide is not a job it’s a lifestyle.
I have been a tour guide since 2005 in many places in the world but my first destination was actually Sao Miguel. I fell instantly in love and decided back then that I would be back here someday.
Since then I have been doing free tours in Copenhagen, Madrid, Hamburg, Prague, and Aarhus. But now I’m back and call the Azores home.
Appearance could have been better. Keep in mind that if only 2 persons, the tour will be cancelled

Thomas is an amazing guide who makes you feel like you’re having a conversation with a friend rather than attending a tour. He has a wonderful way of blending the history of Ponta Delgada with his own personal anecdotes and stories from people he’s met on the island — which makes the experience feel truly alive and unique. He also shared some great local tips for restaurants and bars that we absolutely loved. Highly recommend his tour if you want to discover the city beyond the surface !
