This was a safe, informative, and genuinely interesting tour. I had been a little concerned beforehand because some older reviews mentioned tours being cancelled, but my experience was completely different. The guide arrived exactly on time, even though I was the only guest, and gave me a full and wonderful tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions while giving me a much better understanding of the community and everyday life there. I felt completely safe throughout the experience. He also went beyond the tour itself by explaining how Mumbai’s train system works and helping me take a train afterward. I really appreciated the extra effort and would definitely recommend this tour.

Sanjay gave me a wonderful introduction to Mumbai from architectural, historical, and cultural perspectives. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and seems to know something about virtually everything connected with the city. He answered every question I had thoughtfully and in detail, and made the history and character of Mumbai much easier to understand and appreciate. The tour felt informative, personal, and engaging throughout. I would highly recommend Sanjay to anyone who wants to understand Mumbai beyond just seeing the main sights.

Great tour! Guide was on time. We took a train a couple stops to the first location that was a good market on the beach and had 3-4 vegetarian/Indian dishes and some ice cream. Then we walked to another market that had meat dish options that were really good too. The tour ended at a delicious natural ice cream store with authentic fruit flavors. All the food was great and the guide was nice enough to share his umbrella with me since it was pouring rain and I didn’t have one. Also helped me find soap to buy at a nearby store at the last stop since I’d run out. Went above and beyond. 🤩👍
