Hi, my name is Zoran. I am 48 years old. I live in Ljubljana from the age of three, so i am local and i can tell you a lot about Ljubljana and its history from my own experience, and although i live in Ljubljana since my childhood i still like the city very much. What i like best is the calmness, nature, and cleanness of the city. I was a marathon runner and quite a few times I have ran a Ljubljana marathon as well as other marathons in the world. Ljubljana and its nature inspires me to live a calm and modest life.
Hi, My name is Zoran. The tour in the city of Ljubljana begins at three bridges and goes by the beautiful green river Ljubljanica to križanke and back to three bridges by the mayor's house from the 15th century
On your tour, you will see the beautiful architecture of Ljubljana town (some buildings from the 12th century and walls from Roman times. Castle Ljubljana is visible all the way and you can go there by walk ( 20min ) by elevator or by minibus. We will see quite a few fountains and statues, for example, the statue of one of the greatest Slovenian poets; France Prešeren
On our way, we will also see quite a few architectural works from Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. He has also done a lot of architecture in Austria and Prague (Czech Republic) then also we have the so-called Dragon Bridge, I am sure you will like it.
Why you should choose me : Because i live here in Ljubljana since my very childhood ( from the age of 3 . I am now 48.) and maybe compared to some other tourist guides who are not originaly from Slovenia or ex Yugoslavia...i know a lot about Ljubljana and its history from my own experience, and not only from book knowledge.I was born when Slovenia was stil a part of Yugoslavia, i also experienced the war when Slovenia got independence in 1991. So you will learn not only about Ljubljana's architecture, but also about history from the first hand experience 🙂
Book this amazing tour!
