In the procession of princes through the old town

My tour is about a historical look behind the scenes of the old town and the question of why today, several centuries after most of the buildings were first built, everything is where it is and what all of this has to do with a man who supposedly... is said to have fathered more than 300 children and bent horseshoes.

To do this, we start at the legendary "Princes' Procession" (Fürstenzug), a mural over a hundred meters long, made of tiles, which in turn, made of Meissen porcelain, depict all the princes and kings of the Wettin family, who ruled the kingdom of Saxony for more than eight hundred years . From there we continue, past all the buildings that date back to the reign of those same kings.

Furthermore, it is important to me to make clear the wealth of exhibitions and museums that Dresden undoubtedly has and to provide a rough overview of them. The sights that are located just outside the city are also mentioned here and there, so that the tour offers enough incentive and motivation to continue exploring the city and the region afterwards.

Моя экскурсия - это исторический взгляд за кулисы старого города и вопрос о том, почему все находится там, где находится сегодня, спустя несколько веков после того, как большинство зданий были впервые возведены, и какое отношение все это имеет к человеку, который, как говорят, родил более 300 детей и гнул подковы. 
Начнем с легендарного "Фюрстенцуга" - фрески длиной более ста метров, выполненной из плиток, которые, в свою очередь, состоят из мейсенского фарфора и изображают всех принцев и королей династии Веттинов, правивших географическими широтами нынешней Саксонии более восьмисот лет. Далее экскурсия продолжается мимо всех зданий, которые относятся к периоду правления тех самых королей. 
Кроме того, мне важно подчеркнуть богатство выставок и музеев, которыми, несомненно, обладает Дрезден, и дать их приблизительный обзор. Достопримечательности, расположенные за пределами города, также упоминаются здесь и там, так что экскурсия дает достаточно стимулов и мотивации для дальнейшего изучения города и региона.
