Tour description

Discovering Ourense is diving into a city where history, art, and tradition intertwine. Famous for its thermal waters and rich heritage, on this tour we will learn how this city of nobles, churches, and sloping squares has grown over the centuries. Will you join us?

We will start our visit at As Burgas, the emblematic thermal springs, where the waters gush out at over 60ºC from the Earth's depths. Will you be brave enough to touch them?

After learning about the city's origins, we will arrive at the Praza Maior, the heart of Ourense, famous for its unique slope. From here, we will delve into the medieval era by exploring two essential monuments in the city's history: the Episcopal Palace and the Church of Santa María Nai.

Our tour will take us to the surroundings of the Cathedral of San Martiño, where we will unveil secrets about its history, architecture, and the curiosities that surround it.

Afterwards, we will have time to explore the Praza do Ferro, the perfect place to savor authentic Galician cuisine, and stroll along the Rúa do Paseo, the quintessential commercial and modernist artery of Ourense.

Before concluding, we will visit the imposing church of Santa Eufemia, a magnificent example of Galician baroque, and the Alameda, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the city's atmosphere.
