My name is Alejandro and I am pleased to offer to guide you through the history, culture and architectural beauty of this fascinating city.
During our tour, walking through its cobbled streets, we will explore the most emblematic places of Dresden.
We will start at the iconic Theaterplatz square where architectural gems such as the Semper Opera and the majestic Hofkirche cathedral are located. I will tell you the fascinating history of these buildings, and how they have stood the test of time.
We will continue our way to the splendid Zwinger Palace, a masterpiece of baroque art.
And later, walking through its streets we will pass by the largest porcelain mosaic in the world, “The Parade of the Princes”. And we will finish at the Neumarkt in Dresden, where the bombing of Dresden will be explained through the history of the Frauenkirche.
I will be at Theaterplatz, next to the statue of King John (equestrian statue), with a lime green umbrella.
