I invite you to discover one of the city's most interesting neighborhoods. What were the Genoese doing in Constantinople? Why was the Galata district, crowned by that unique tower, instrumental in the conquest of the city? Where can you find the best mackerel sandwiches? What are the city's most famous staircases? Is there a street of colorful umbrellas?
The history of crusaders, Marco Polo and the Silk Road, Don Quixote and Cervantes, the Granada Decree... is it possible to find all of this together on a tour of this incredible city?
Welcome to the Spanish-language tour of the Genovese neighborhood!

Tips: We will be using public transport, so it is recommended, but not essential, to have an Istanbulkart transport card.

We will walk through steep, cobbled areas, so appropriate footwear is required.

We'll meet next to the T1 metro station, at the Karakoy stop, across the Galata Bridge. This tour ends in Karakoy, next to the Tophane T1 station.
