Hello! I'm Miguel, and I'm passionate about history. I truly enjoy telling it and sharing the inspiration that wonderful stories and epic feats provide. I used to do this from a university lecture hall, and now I do it from the actual sites of the events. I also teach yoga, but walking with you on a tour is my other kind of yoga: that of consciousness and the memory of humanity.

Tour description

The history of the town of Barcelona is different from the official history. In the latter, the events that changed the city (universal exposition, Olympic games) are different from those in popular history: the revolts of 1835, the barricades, immigration, unions, women's societies, the tragic week, the social revolution of 1936, neighborhood struggles, athenaeums, and free schools.

If you want to know the alternative narrative of Barcelona's transformations, this is your tour.

We will take a walk through the city center and visit emblematic places and moments that have great tourist value (medieval streets, ramblas, convents, museums, Gaudí's works) but from a different perspective, which will leave you astonished and perplexed.

Join us to walk through the Rose of Fire, which is the name of rebellious Barcelona, determined to write its own history. Cheers!
