Tour description
This district is full of charming corners that we will discover together. In Santa Caterina, we can stroll through streets that still retain the essence of the city, with traditional shops, the market, and gems like the Palau de la Musica Catalana, a masterpiece of Catalan modernism.
Afterwards, we stroll through the Parc de la Ciutadella, a park that once housed a fortress, a symbol of the city's oppression, and which, thanks to the 1888 World's Fair, became a green oasis containing interesting buildings such as a greenhouse, a spectacular waterfall, and the Parliament of Catalonia.
Finally, we stroll through the streets of the Born, a district known for its trading tradition and its palaces, one of which houses the Picasso Museum, and end our tour at the district's great jewel, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar.
