Hi, my name is Meder — and I’m here to make your time in Bishkek meaningful and memorable.
I work as a part-time lecturer at Ala-Too International University in the Faculty of Medicine. Before teaching, I worked in the field of addiction recovery, so if you are interested in deeper conversations about human behavior, mental health, or social issues, I’m always happy to share insights in a simple and engaging way.
If you want to understand Kyrgyz culture, traditions, mentality, and the realities of everyday life, I can guide you through it from an insider’s perspective. I know how our people think, how our history shaped us, and what makes our country special.
I love meeting new people, exchanging cultures, and creating real connections. Adventure is a big part of my life — I enjoy sports and the mountains — so I can also take you to beautiful hiking spots, scenic viewpoints, and mountain trails around Bishkek, tailored to your interests and pace.
My dream has always been to bring people closer through cultural exchange, and I’ve been doing that throughout my life. I would be happy to share a part of myself with you and help you experience Kyrgyzstan in a warm, authentic way.

Tour description
A Nomad in the Modern World – Cultural & Historical Walk Through Bishkek
Discover Bishkek through a story that links ancient nomads, spiritual traditions, the Soviet era, and modern Kyrgyz life into one clear and engaging journey.
This walk helps you not only see the city, but understand how different eras shaped the mindset of Kyrgyz people today.
We will explore:
✅ Ala-Too Square – the heart of the nation and the place of key political events.
✅ The White House – a symbol of government, change, and revolutions.
✅ Revolution Statues – stories about freedom, activism, and the nomadic spirit.
✅ TSUM & souvenir shops – local crafts and modern expressions of ancient symbols.
✅ Victory Square & The Eternal Flame – the Soviet chapter and its influence on society.
✅ The Central Mosque – where we discuss the shift from pagan beliefs to Islam and its role in modern life.
Throughout the walk, we will connect all parts of the Kyrgyz identity:
pagan roots → Islam → nomadic lifestyle → Soviet legacy → today’s Kyrgyzstan.
If you want a walk that combines history, culture, and meaningful insight, this tour will give you a deep and authentic understanding of the country.
