Great tour. He was very well educated on the city, spoke very good English and took us to tea. Was an amazing evening learning about the culture and history of Bishkek!

Meder was a fascinating guide who taught us a lot about the nomadic culture of the Kyrgyz people and how it impacts life still today. We had great conversations being the only two on the tour and took the opportunity to ask many questions. It was nice experience walking with Meder. He walks to the places and provides valuable information about the places. He speaks good English. At the end of the trip, he took us to a local but good restaurant where we enjoyed local food. It was a good tour. Our guide Meder is a professional.

This was the most informative and enjoyable free walking tour I’ve ever attended. Some parts of this tour was like watching a BBC documentary, but with the added value that Iskender catored to our many questions and fields of interest. A balanced, educated, and entertaining tour. He even accepted us inviting him for lunch afterwards where many world problems were solved. Great day in Bishkek!
