Harry Potter Free Tour in Porto

Would you like to discover Porto while immersing yourself in the world of Harry Potter ? On this free tour , we'll explore the city following in the footsteps of JK Rowling , who lived here in the 1990s and began to shape the story of " the boy who lived ."

We'll begin at Praça da Batalha , the ideal starting point to learn about the origins of the saga and the creative process behind characters like Harry , Ron , and Hermione . We'll then continue to Café Majestic , one of the city's most iconic landmarks, where the author spent time developing her initial ideas.

We'll continue along Avenida dos Aliados , whose surroundings can evoke scenes where the everyday can become mysterious. From there, we'll head to São Bento Station , where we'll talk about the journey to Hogwarts and how certain real-world locations can remind us of the transition between the magical and non-magical worlds.

The tour will continue towards the Clérigos Tower and other points full of symbolism, such as the Hidden House or the University of Porto , where the students, with their black cloaks, seem to have been taken directly from Hogwarts ... or perhaps it was the other way around.

We will finish in front of the Lello Bookstore , one of the most iconic places in Porto and closely linked to the magical imaginary, although not without controversy.

Plus, during the tour you'll be assigned to a Hogwarts house and participate in a team game to compete for the House Cup . Because, you know... every point counts!
