- 2 hours
- Spanish and Italian
Description
Discover the heart of Ancient Rome with a journey through the places where the history of one of the world's greatest empires was built.
The tour starts from the Capitoline Hill, where we will admire an extraordinary view of the Roman Forum and reconstruct the birth and evolution of the city. We will then descend towards Trajan's Column, an authentic story carved in marble of the emperor's campaigns against the Dacians.
We will continue to discover the Imperial Forums, retracing the stories of Caesar, Augustus, Nerva, and Trajan, and observing the remains of the great squares, temples, and monuments through which the emperors celebrated their power.
We will then arrive at the Roman Forum, the political, religious, and social center of the ancient city, to discover how daily life unfolded in the capital of the Empire.
Our journey will end in front of the majestic Colosseum, where we will enter the world of gladiators and Roman spectacles, and at the Arch of Constantine, a symbol of an era of profound transformations.
A walk through history to imagine Rome when it was truly the center of the world.
