In this free tour, we will discover how the Great Siege of 1565 gave rise to Valletta, who the Knights of the Order of Saint John really were, and what historical connection links Malta with Spain.

We will also learn about the incredible story of Caravaggio: art genius, fugitive, pursued for murder, turned Knight of Malta, imprisoned, and finally escaped from the island.

But Valletta is much more than wars and knights. We will talk about Napoleon, British influence, World War II, Maltese culture, and its most typical flavors: pastizzi, ftira, Maltese rabbit, Kinnie, and much more.

All of this with a friendly, participative, and entertaining style, along with recommendations for eating, drinking, and further exploring Malta.
