The tour itself was really enjoyable — our guide gave a great overview of South Korea’s history and explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. He clearly knows his subject well and made the experience interesting rather than just factual. However, one issue did impact my experience. I originally booked the tour for a specific date, but it was changed to the following day at quite short notice (the day before). Unfortunately, I didn’t see the updated email in time, which caused some disruption to my plans. From my understanding — though I could be mistaken — it seemed like the schedule may have been adjusted depending on group numbers or language demand (e.g. Spanish vs English tours). If that’s the case, it would be helpful to make this clearer upfront, as it can be frustrating when you’re trying to plan your time and rely on a confirmed booking. Overall, a knowledgeable and engaging guide, but the last-minute change made the experience less smooth than it could have been.
