About the tour

***CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE TRIP ADVISOR 2019***

A journey around Alfama and Mouraria will make you feel like going back in time. From the Phoenicians to the Romans, from the Visigoths

to the Moors and the conquest of Lisbon by Afonso Henriques, all these civilizations left their influence around here.

These are the areas better preserved after the great earthquake in 1755 and they haven’t changed much throughtout time.

From the shores of the Tagus river up to Graça viewpoint, you will be able to feel the mix of cultures so unique to Lisbon.

The charming narrow streets, the famous “azulejos” on the walls, the clothes on the balconies, the iconic trams, the many steps up and down, the delicious local food, the friendly locals and the soul of the

portuguese culture, Fado.

From Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square), we’ll visit places like Sé Cathedral, the streets of Alfama, Portas do Sol viewpoint, São Jorge Castle, São Domingos Church, Graça district and viewpoint, Beco do Fado and many more.

Waste of time booking guru walk. We were the only ones who turned up so the guide told us he didn't have enough people to take the tour. We had a 40 minute walk to the meeting point for nothing.

Hicimos el tour en español. Nuestra guia fue encantadora, muy atenta, nos resolvió dudas para pasar el resto de dias del viaje, ademas de las 2 horas del tour.

Totalmente recomendado.
