Excellent welcome and quality of information. Gagat was very friendly, with good sense of humor and easy going. It was a cultural tour, with historical highlights and an authentic gastronomic experience! With Gagat, you can’t go wrong. Book in advance, it’s nice to have a predictable tour. Our group had many questions about politics, religion and culture. Gagat was excellent to provide context and insights. Highly recommended if you’re in town for a short time.

Very well guided tour
Explained in depth the famous buildings of Malioboro area...very learned and intelligent philosophical aspects of this historical area
He went out of his way and took us to many specialty food and drink places and even paid for all the items
He also helped me book a local car and driver for our Borobudur temple visit
Will be happy to give his name to friends for regular tour guide for the day when needed

Good tour from Gagat highlighting his passion and knowledge of Jogya. He pointed out things I never would have noticed and introduced me to some food stalls I wouldn't have tried.

This was basically a food tour and we enjoyed it a lot. We walked down the very busy Malioboro street and Gagat made us try all sorts of different foods that we wouldn‘t have dared to try otherwise - like a Kopi Joss. He sprinkled in information about Jogja in between the bites which was nice too. Would definitely recommend!
