Free walking tour in Dublin

My husband and I took this tour with Hugh and found it excellent. Hugh is a lovely guy, full of information and knowledge of Dublin and it's history. He really involved everyone and answered all questions. Definitely the place to start, with Hugh, during a visit to Dublin. We only have 2 nights here and we covered so many of the sites with Hugh. So pleased we choose him. Thank you 😊

Jimmie was a fantastic guide whose passion for and knowledge of Irish history is infectious. He was well-spoken and captivating in his narration during the tour. After the tour I asked him for food and drink recommendations and he did not disappoint with his suggestions. I would highly recommend a tour with Jimmie for anybody’s itinerary when visiting Dublin, or, if like myself, you are a local who wants to try something different in Dublin for the day. Hugh was a wonderful guide! He took the time to get to know us and what we’d be interested in, and then really gave us such a nice overview of Dublin’s history and culture. He told the story of the city in a way that felt so relatable and real and answered our questions with ease. This is a great tour. Well summarized, well told in an engaging style that keeps you hanging on to the end. I would definitely recommend it. He is also very good at adapting to the level of the listener.

We truly enjoyed the tour. He gave us background information of all kinds, sharp, well-educated, funny, and always worthwhile. What stood out was how he focused on the individual wishes of our group, 11/10, anytime again. With his sympathetic, laid-back aura and grounded personality, paired with quick wit and values carried openly, the experience felt direct, authentic, and very pleasant.

I thought this was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Very informative, interesting, a good mix of topics and commentary about the history of this country. I learned a lot. Alan is personable and professional. I have signed up for another tour tomorrow and am looking forward to it! And I have already highly recommended the company and the tour I went on today to friends travelling to Dublin next year.

Alberto was a fun and caring guide. The other people that were supposed to join us did not show up and there were only two of us. Alberto did not cancel the tour and safely brought us to many interesting spot of Dublin. I strongly recommend discovering Dublin on a bike as it allows to go farther and learn more about different areas of the city.
